Children are a precious gift and a blessing from God. At SonRise, we deeply value our children and are committed to supporting them and their families by teaching them about Jesus and guiding them in what it means to follow Him. We strive to instill in them the immeasurable joy that comes from having hope, peace, joy, love, and fulfillment as a child of God. In our Sunday school, we explore lessons from both the Old and New Testaments, memorize Scripture, and pray for one another and for the Church. We endeavor to do this using The Biggest Story Curriculum.
Children up to 5th grade remain in the worship service with their parents until the sermon, after which they move to their respective age-appropriate classrooms. We find great joy in having our children join us in worship and actively participate in various ways. Our ultimate goal is for all our children to be equipped with a deep understanding of the Bible, to grow in their love for Christ, to develop a fervent passion for the glory of God, and to strive to be used for His glory among all people.
