The primary responsibility of believers in Jesus Christ and the motivation of missions is the worship of God and the witness of His glory and marvelous works for the joy of all peoples of the earth. We view it as a joy to be a part of the great commission (Matt. 28:18-20) our Lord gave us. Because of this we seek to reach out globally with the gospel.
A church rich in gospel doctrine should create a culture rich in the gospel. At SonRise, we aim to preach and grow in the gospel doctrinally and relationally, loving the truth of God and one another to exalt Christ and spread the gospel both inside and outside our gatherings.
We believe that all believers are called to share the good news of Christ wherever the Lord has placed them. It is also important for the church to be a light in their community. Thus we aim be both intentional and spontaneous in our outreach.
